Temecula Valley International Film and Music Festival calls for volunteers
Police are still in the process of an investigation after an altercation broke out among a group of motorcyclists Friday on the Temecula Parkway off-ramp on the 1-15 freeway, leaving two people with stab wounds, a sheriff’s official reported today.
The motorcyclists got into the altercation for unclear reasons and one of the subjects of the fight was stabbed at approximately 6 p.m., according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Report.
The stabbing victim then proceeded to ride off in his motorcycle but didn’t make it far before collapsing, according to Sheriff’s Sgt. Kevin McDonald.
McDonald said the man was checked into a local hospital where medical officials treated him. He is currently in stable condition.
Another motorcyclist also sustained stab wounds, but his were less severe. He ended up checking himself in and out of a local hospital, McDonald said.
At this point in time many questions remain unanswered and sheriff’s officials are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Investigator Carlos Topete at the Riverside County Sheriff’s Southwest Station at 951-696-3000.
