Police arrested a 38-year-old Lake Elsinore man for allegedly sexually assaulting a child under 10 years of age and are now seeking the public’s help to identify possible other victims, Sheriff’s officials reported.

The Lake Elsinore Police Department’s Detective Bureau arrested Ebelio DeLeon about 11:00 a.m., Tuesday July 9 in the 200 block of North Langstaff Street in Lake Elsinore following an investigation into the alleged assault, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s report.

The alleged incident occurred on June 30 in a residence being used as an unlicensed day care facility, Riverside County Sheriff’s Sgt. Todd Pauling said.

Now police are searching for possible other victims because the alleged crime occurred in a place where other children were present, according to Pauling.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Lake Elsinore Police Detective Ryan Deanne by calling 951-245-3300 or 951-776-1099 after hours.
