Fallen Kingdom is the darkest and most daring Jurassic movie. It’s also the dumbest.
Police arrested three people in connection with two burglaries around 8:30 a.m. Thursday at a Palm Desert motel, Sheriff’s officials reported today.
Heather Anne Dougherty, 44, of Palm Desert; Peter Lopez Jr., 31, of Indio; and Carli Genevie Cortez, 32, of Desert Hot Springs were all arrested on burglary charges after police responded to reports of a break in at the International Lodge located in the 74300 block of El Camino Boulevard in Palm Desert, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s report.
Police arrived and arrested Dougherty on charges of burglary, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, Sheriff’s Sgt. David Wright said.
It was not immediately clear what Dougherty tried to steal at the motel complex.
During the course of an initial investigation, motel employees told officers two other people were attempting to leave the motel complex in a tan PT Cruiser after being seen in a vacant room, according to Wright.
Those individuals, Lopez and Cortez, were found and arrested without incident. It was later discovered that a robbery took place in the vacant motel room, according to Wright.
Anyone with information on these crimes is encouraged to contact the Palm Desert Police Department at 760-836-1600.
