You Can All Rest Easy: Wonder Woman is Good
Palm Desert police officers arrested a 49-year-old man for suspicion of drunken driving around 11:03 p.m. Sunday after he crashed his vehicle into a parked car and then ran it into a planter in a shopping center parking lot in the area of Monterey Avenue and Dinah Shore Drive in Palm Desert, according to a Sheriff’s official.
Timothy Hill was driving his Volkswagen Jetta westbound in a parking lot between a Wal-Mart and an Ashley Furniture store when he struck the vehicle and planter, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s report.
When it struck the curbed planter, Hill’s vehicle became stuck, Sheriff’s Sgt. Patrick Carroll said.
Police responded to the area and arrested Hill because alcohol appeared to be a factor in the crash, according to Carroll.
Hill did not sustain any injuries in the crash and was booked at Riverside County Jail located in the City of Indio, Carroll said.
