Police are seeking two suspects in a burglary that happened shortly before 5:00 a.m. this morning at a Carl’s Jr. restaurant in the 44000 block of Bedford Court in Temecula, a sheriff’s official reported today.

A delivery truck driver was just arriving to the restaurant around 4:50 a.m. when he saw two people wearing dark clothing, ski masks, and gloves run out of the back door of it, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s report.

The delivery truck driver called 911 to report the incident and police arrived to the scene, according to Sheriff’s Lt. Doug McGrew.

Police then discovered the suspects entered the business from a broken window before prying open cash registers and emptying the contents of the registers into black garbage bags, according to McGrew.

The suspects are still at large at this time. Anyone with further information regarding this incident is encouraged to call the Temecula Police Department at 951-696-3000.
