Officers from the Indian Wells Police department arrested a 21-year-old woman around 5:30 a.m. today for suspicion of driving under the influence after she was involved in a single vehicle collision that blocked westbound traffic on Fred Waring Drive in Indian Wells, a Sheriff’s official reported today.

Tiffany Lynn Sill was driving eastbound on Fred Waring drive when she apparently lost control of her vehicle and drove on top of a raised center median. Her vehicle became disabled and finally rested on the westbound side of the road, where it blocked traffic, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s report.

Officers believed Sill was impaired while driving her vehicle and arrested her. She was transported to the County Jail in Banning, according to Sheriff’s Sgt. Ken Black.

No one was injured in the collision.
