Officers from the Temecula Police Department are searching for two men who robbed a man at gunpoint before taking his vehicle shortly before 5:30 a.m. today in the 28900 block of Old Town Front Street in Temecula, a Sheriff’s official reported. Police car

The victim of the carjacking parked his black Subaru Impreza four-door sedan against the curb when the two men approached him and demanded his car keys, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s report.

One of the men had a pistol, which was used to strike the victim in the back of the head, according to Sheriff’s Sgt. Kevin McDonald.

The two suspects then robbed the victim and drove away with his vehicle, McDonald said.

Both of the men are described as Latinos around 25 years of age.

One of the men was described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing black knit cap, black long sleeve sweater, and brown shorts.

The other man was described as being slightly larger at 5 feet 8 inches. He had a medium to large build and was wearing blue pants and a grey sweatshirt, according to the report.

The victim suffered minor injuries and declined to be transported to a hospital for treatment.
