You Can All Rest Easy: Wonder Woman is Good
Members from the Lake Elsinore police department arrested a 50-year-old man for assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly stabbed another man shortly before 7:00 p.m. during a dispute at a party in the 32000 block of Penrose Street, a Sheriff’s official reported today.
Brian Middleton of Wildomar was among a number of party-goers who had been drinking when he became involved in a verbal altercation with another person, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s report.
The argument turned violent when Middleton allegedly stabbed the person, said Sheriff’s Sgt. David Cardoza.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment when Middleton fled into the residence where the party was occurring, according to Cardoza.
When police arrived, Middleton refused to leave the backroom he was hiding in and surrender when he was bitten by a police dog. Afterward, police were able to take Middleton into custody without further incident, Cardoza said.
