The fire was first reported about 6:25 p.m. that evening and 24 firefighters arrived to the scene of the blaze with one truck, Riverside County Fire Department Spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.

The fire left a 75-year-old woman dead.

The identity of the woman could not be confirmed at this point in time.

Two other individuals, one male and one female, were suffering from smoke inhalation and had to be transported to an area hospital by ground ambulance, according to Hendrickson.

The fire was put out at 6:54 p.m. and the structure was completely destroyed. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
