HEMET – Officers assigned to San Jacinto’s Special
Enforcement Team arrested a 33-year-old San Jacinto man for possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, identity theft and other crimes shortly after 7:00 a.m. Thursday, January 23 at his home in the 1100 block of Peacock Dr. in San Jacinto, Sheriff’s officials reported.
Jorge Martinez had his home searched after officers procured and served a search warrant to him, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Report.
The officers had received a tip about the residence containing narcotics sale items, stolen property and identity theft items and followed up by obtaining the warrant, according to Sgt. J Orona.
Orona said that once the officers were inside they found numerous items connected with robberies that happened in the area as well as narcotics, ammunition and other people’s credit cards.
Martinez was booked into the Riverside County Jail located in Banning.
