Fallen Kingdom is the darkest and most daring Jurassic movie. It’s also the dumbest.
Police arrested three men Sunday in connection with an attempted robbery where the manager of a Del Taco restaurant in Winchester was held at knifepoint, according to a Sheriff’s official.
A man who was brandishing the knife entered the Del Taco restaurant at 30640 Benton Road in the Winchester area and demanded that the manager give him money from behind the counter, according to a Riverside County Sheriff’s report.
When the manager refused to supply the suspect with money, he ran out to a vehicle manned by two accomplices and left the area, according to Sheriff’s Sgt. G. Williams.
Williams said a Perris station deputy heard reports of the attempted robbery and saw a vehicle traveling down Winchester road that matched the description of the suspect’s; he stopped the vehicle and found the suspect hiding in its backseat underneath of a blanket
The man and his two accomplices were arrested and booked for attempted robbery. They were Brentyn Rooney, 21, of San Jacinto; Zachary Travis, 19, of San Jacinto; and Ruben Reed, 18, of San Jacinto.
“Rooney has been sought by law enforcement for nine other similar robberies in the areas of Hemet, San Jacinto, Perris and Menifee over the past month,” Williams said in his report.
